Sam Hamer

I'm Sam Hamer, a filmmaker based in Baltimore, Maryland, specializing in commercials, PSAs, documentaries, and video essays. I picked up my first camera at the age of seven and have been passionate about filmmaking ever since. Over the years, I've worked on a wide range of projects, including feature films, TV shows, commercials, music videos, short films, and museum exhibition videos.

My deep curiosity about history, politics, and the weird world we live in drives me to create films that blur the line between fact and fiction, encouraging viewers to rethink their understanding of the world.

Currently, I work as a Creative Services Producer at WBFF-FOX 45 Baltimore, where I shoot and edit dynamic commercials for local businesses and craft impactful PSAs that resonate with the community, helping to effectively communicate key messages and drive engagement.
